Welcome to Postales

Some trips end up buried in the camera roll and slowly fade away: the name of that restaurant, the side street we stumbled upon, the chat with the person who handed us the keys to their home. Postales exists so that doesn’t happen.

We’re Fer and Danielle, and we travel together whenever we can. This is where we’ll keep those trips — not as a polished guide, but as an honest notebook: what we did, what we ate, what surprised us and what we’d do differently.

Why we do it

For two reasons, and both matter equally. The first is sharing: if anything we write helps someone plan their own trip, wonderful. The second, more selfish one, is remembering: we want to come back years from now, open an entry and relive the trip exactly as it was.

Travel leaves marks that don’t fit in a suitcase. Here we try to keep them.

We’re opening the notebook with our most recent getaway: London. It’ll arrive as soon as we develop the photos and sort through the memories.
