HomeExchange is a home-swapping community: you open up your place to other travellers and, in return, you stay in theirs all over the world. You don’t pay for accommodation — just a yearly membership fee — and you sleep in real homes, not hotel rooms.

Why we use it

• Travelling by living a place, not just visiting it. You stay in neighbourhoods where people actually live, cook in a real kitchen and get to know the city from the inside.
• It pays off. Accommodation is usually the biggest cost of a trip; here it disappears. That leaves us budget to do more… or to travel more often.
• No reciprocal swap required. With the GuestPoints system you earn points when someone stays at your place and spend them wherever you like, even with someone else. No need to match dates with anyone.
• Real trust. Verified profiles, reviews, insurance and a team behind it all. In our experience, people look after someone else’s home as if it were their own.
